What I Don't Know (And What I'll Come to Knowing)

From brisk Idaho, oak treed Connecticut and lush green Oregon.
From what I don't know and what I'll come to knowing.
The depths of my mind where each idea spirals out through my pen.
My sisters laugh as she runs towards me.

From what I don't know and what I'll come to knowing.
My mother's love and my father's strength.
My sister's laugh as she runs towards me.
I'm from hurt but beauty comes from pain.

My mother's love and my father's strength.
My friend's friendship and trustworthy beings.
I'm from hurt bu beauty comes from pain.
The teachings of my beloved stepmother.

My friend's friendship and trustworthy beings.
The depths of my mind where each idea spirals out through my pen.
The teachings of my beloved stepmother.
From brisk Idaho, oak treed Connecticut and lush green Oregon.

Nervous

N ever ending game of touch.
E very part. Leg to face.
R eally slow...a drugged like state.
V igorous thoughts – don't think at all.
O utrageous feeling – power over me.
U nbelievable...I like you – do it again.
S mile – kiss – touch – Nervous?

                                    Nope.

All Smiles for You

Run – Charging at me
Slam into my body
Arms 'round me; we fall
The impact was nothing at all.

Your laugh fills my ears
I laugh till I feel tears
On the floor you're with me.
As you whisper my fall was sexy.

I fix my hair as best I can
Till you mess it all up with a hand
I sigh but lean in for this
The moments when we can kiss.

I'll be running to get the door
You're there as I tackle the floor
Gasping hard...the pain is a lot.
You're laughing and saying “Damn that's hot.”

Beneath the Trees

Beneath the trees,
I know we'll meet.
I yearn to see you...
For it's my heart you keep.

Rain coats my body.
And rolls on my skin.
Open your strong arms.
And let me step in.

I can dance with you.
Beneath these trees.
Together we'll fall (in love).
Like the color changing leaves.

The world will sing.
My hand fits with yours.
Your face it glistens,
With mine your lean in – I'm sure.

Lips brush mine softly...
And the wonderful warmth of you.
Beneath the trees.
I'll never feel so true.

Kiss,kiss.
Me, me.
Beneath the trees.

My heart in the heart of yours.
Your heart guards mine.
Rain kisses us too.
Which makes us shine.

Cheek to cheek.
I can finally be warm.
And I sway here.
Encircled in your arms.

Gently sweep my wet hair.
Behind my ear.
Nose to nose...
Loosing you is my fear.

And beneath the trees
Loving you is what I'll do.
As rain kisses me.
As I kiss you.
